A final outcome is developed from this work in a similar way to the GCSE.(Completed by the spring half-term). Breadth of study - Lino printing/ mixed media experimentation. Component 1: (100% of AS Level): For this unit, an early release question paper from the examination board is given. A sketchbook and a body of class work developed in response to the question paper. 10 hours supervised time period. Component 1. - Personal Investigation (worth 60% of the marks): A variety of work is produced from a self-selected theme. Personal investigation, which includes a piece related writing (1000 words) to the chosen theme. Component 2. - Controlled Assignment (Worth 40% of the marks): For this unit, an early release question paper from the examination board is given. A sketchbook and a body of class work developed in response to the question paper. 15 hours supervised time period
