Non-exam Assessment (NEA) Controlled Assessment A substantial design and make task where the practical application of technical principles, designing and making principles and specialist knowledge are presented. This is a portfolio and manufactured prototype taking 45 hours, 50% of the final A level. The context of the task will be set by AQA and allow students to select from a list issued to schools.
