What the college says
This course is for you if you are new to the UK and want to improve your English language skills in speaking and listening, reading and writing. You will develop these skills with the help of experienced ESOL teachers in a friendly and welcoming environment with other young people from around the world. You will also develop your confidence as you start your life in London and learn skills and knowledge to prepare you for work and further education.
What you need to get on
There are no formal entry requirements but you will progress more successfully on the course if you have strong literacy skills in your mother tongue. You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
